Dragonfly Behavior

The dragonfly has two stages in its life cycle: the aquatic and the adult. All dragonflies are carnivorous. They eat mosquitoes, midges, flies, bees and butterflies. Dragonflies are visual hunters. Dragonfly eyes are large and contain up to 30,000 individual lenses, so they have a very good vision. Their natural predators are birds.
